CLOUGH KICK-STARTS THE NEW YEAR

Kerry Clough started the New Year off in the best possible fashion with victory in Tinwald Cycling Club’s, Wylie Family, 45km handicap event around the Christys Road block on Sunday.

Clough’s win secured him the Alan Wylie Memorial Cup.

In the tight charge to the line Clough saw off the challenge of second place getter Shona McGrath-Proctor, with Brian Ellis taking the final podium position.

Scratch marker Michael Templeton secured fastest time honours riding the distance in 62.59. Co-markers Nathan Tew and Brad Hudson picked up second and third time.
