The Californian based Jazz Apple Team won consecutive events on May 25 and 26 in the San Francisco Bay area. Opening a stellar weekend of competition with an epic win in the Mt Hamilton Road Race, Jazz Apple climbing power Ruth Corset out-sprinted a small select group that included lead-out teammate Alison Shanks. Corset also claimed the Mt Hamilton QOM that retraced the same 32km climb as the Queen stage for the Tour of California.

The Jazz Apples regrouped the next day to deliver sprinting bullet Belinda Goss to the top of the dais. Goss's high turn of speed was complimented by Susy Pryde's diligent wok and Emma Petersen's lead out contribution over the final laps.

Jazz Apple now turn their attention to three days of criterium racing at the Oklahoma Tulsa Tough criterium series May 30-June 1.
